In May 2023, Frédéric Bau (Valrhona’s pastry explorer for 35 years) called on François Daubinet to create a chocolate sculpture for an exhibition in an art gallery in Paris’ Marais district. His creation is a chocolate egg carved from the raw material, in homage to his passion for transforming matter.

François Daubinet has given pride of place to the egg, an infinite source of inspiration for artists and craftsmen.
